Anita August, founder of Safe for All, was successfully awarded the grant for her uniquely targeted training aimed at saving the lives of young people, who are more often the first on scene when there has been a criminal act of violence or a friend has a medical emergency or is injured. The First Aid training is also targeting parents and grandparents who may panic as a result of emotional involvement and a lack of training when a child or relative is injured or has a medical emergency.

The training will be delivered within your community. For those who complete 6 hours training they will receive a nationally HSE recognised qualification that is the minimum legal requirement for the workplace, is valid for 3 years and can be added to your CV.

If you are a member of a voluntary or community organisation that could benefit from this first aid training offer email Anita August for further details or call 020 8509 2861 / 07798 751915 (Offer closes 30th November 2011).

The Big Lottery Fund distributes half the National Lottery good cause funding across the UK. The Fund aims to enable others to make real improvements to communities and the lives of people most in need.
